You may have never heard of Hyrox, but that’s about to change. This fitness test FOR ALL was initially created in Germany before making its way over to the UK—and now it’s here in Edinburgh.

But wait…what exactly is Hyrox?

Hyrox is a hybrid between running events and functional exercises that you repeatedly perform in an arena with pumping music. There are eight stations total, and it takes about 90 minutes to complete.

 

Every HYROX competition consists of two simple steps:

  • Step 1 | One-Kilometer Run
  • Step 2 | One Functional Workout
  • Repeat eight times.
