Today I have decided it’s the day to make the cashew milk ;-).

Several brands of the plant-based milk in the shops incorporate added vegetable fats, sweeteners as well as other processed ingredients.  So I have decided to check how difficult is to make one at home. My first plant based milk is Cashew Nut milk! Difficulty: EASY!!!
milk
Recipe:
1 glass of Cashews
2 glasses of fresh water
1cm Vanilla Pods (optional)

Making:
Soak the Cashews in the water (overnight or for few hours)
Poor the water away and add fresh water. Blend everything together for few minutes. Poor the milk through sieve and muslin. It’s ready! Store it in the fridge. the milk is naturally sweet but if it’s not enough, add some agave syrup.

Tip: Don’t throw away the remaining cashew from your muslin. Add your favourite fruits and nuts to it and have it as a snack.

Let me know if you like it! I would love to hear from you.
