At the end of my recent personal training consultation, my prospect said something really interesting.
She asked if I used a sales script because our conversation felt smooth and not pushy.
Well, the truth is, I don’t use a script.
In a world filled with automated AI responses and aggressive selling tactics, I prefer to rely on genuine human connection, empathy, and understanding. I may be considered an old dinosaur in this regard, but I believe in building a true connection with my clients.
I once took a business course where they taught us how to exploit clients’ pain points and pressure them into sharing their credit card details.
They showed us how to make people feel bad and position ourselves as their only saviour. I’m sure these techniques work, at least for a while.
However, I believe there’s a better way.
Maybe I won’t be able to rapidly ”scale my business to six figures in the next six months”, but I don’t mind.
I strongly believe that personal training should be just that—personal.
To help you, we need to establish a special bond.
After all, I’ll witness your profuse sweating, fatigue, and exhaustion. I’ll ask you questions that no one has ever asked before, and I’ll be by your side throughout your journey with one goal in mind: your success.
When you hire me as your coach, you get a powerful ally who won’t let you slide back into your old habits.
The choice is yours.
If you’re content with being just a number, plenty of emerging online coaches can provide you with a generic online program and impersonal messages. If that’s all you need, they’ll serve you well.
But if you want something more, if you’re seeking a long-term relationship with a fitness professional who genuinely cares, if you have long-term health and fitness goals, and if you want to uncover your body’s true potential, give me a call.
I can’t promise you an immediate spot, unfortunately, not at this moment.
Let’s meet and have a chat.
And if we connect on the right note, then yes, let’s work together to make you fit, healthy, and happy.
